Now you, too, can feel like a Cub!

Good friend and regular CubsFun reader, Tony, sent me a link to this online game. Warning: It's very addictive and can make you feel utterly foolish. Just like a Cub slugger!

lol. that was fun and interestingly enough it gave a good simulation of what it's like to hit :)

i do a much better job hitting the pitcher in the head than getting it over the wall ...

my record to date is 9 ... and that was quite a few games ago.

i just got a 20. if your computer is slow enough, you'll see that it flashes an X where you need to click. once you got the location down, all you need to worry about is the timing ...

hahahaha. so i need to get a computer that is the cyber equivalent of Glendon Rusch to do well in this game?

Glendon Rusch? Don't know if you caught today's game, but Brenly was going on and on (as he does) about how Maddux got into trouble early by throwing too fast: 86 mph!

I think the ump ought to check that pitcher -- he must be putting something on the ball.

not to mention that he refuses to pitch off the rubber. :)

Probably, DC. Especially if you can "bat" left-handed and "play" some other position.

dc, are you fast and can you "catch the ball"?

I can see his curveball really well and that led to 12 homers off of his curve.

I dont find it ironic he's dressed up in a Cubs-like uniform.
